Obituary

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Christine “Christina” Jackson Morgan was born on April 4, 1948 in Victoria, TX to the late Amil Robert Jackson, Sr. and Rosalina Manuel Jackson. Christina was the firstborn of three children and was predeceased in death by brother Amil R. Jackson, Jr. (PFC, US Marine Corps) killed in action in Vietnam and stepdaughter, Terry Lynn Spears Ehimuh. She is survived by her youngest brother, Freddie Jackson. She was married to Elder Morgan, January 20, 1976 and they would've been married for 46 years this month.

She attended the public-school system of San Antonio, TX graduating from Brackenridge High School in 1966. She then attended San Antonio College entering the professional nursing program. She graduated as a Registered Nurse and later became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Later in nursing, Christina found her passion. With her husband Elder’s support, she started her business At the Well Ministries, Inc., which covered two outreach programs, At the Well Addiction Institute and At the Well Christian Counseling Center. As a Certified Coach Practitioner, she endeavored to help people through challenging life situations and advocate for the wellbeing of elderly patients. The accomplishments mentioned are but a portion of her life success because it was not about monetary value with her. It was about “What Would Jesus Do?” She accepted Jesus Christ early in life as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. You have been told everything perhaps, but what she would really like for you to know about her is that she had a greater love for the Lord, and her faith in the Lord was strong. She loved the Lord like none other. Her relationship with her Savior was uncompromising. She just rained Jesus with her smile and hugs. Christina faithfully served her church family as a Sunday school teacher and clergywoman. For all who would seek her wisdom, they also received her nurturing care. I, for one, as her husband, will never be the same because I truly LOVED her spirit. To God Be the Glory!!!

She leaves to cherish her memory and her Life husband Elder Morgan and her three children LaRachelle Smith (Carlton, Brigadier Gen. US Army) of Houston, TX, Christopher Mark Morgan CPO, US Navy (Lisa) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jennifer Monique Morgan of San Antonio, TX; youngest brother Freddie Jackson (Patty) of San Antonio, TX, sister-in-law Victoria Kelly (Larry) of Bay City, TX; grandchildren, Jocelyn Kang (SeYong) of Katy, TX, Major James Smith of Houston, TX, Andrea Rachelle Smith of Austin, TX, Deja Imani Morgan of Philadelphia PA, Jeffery De Sean Ehimuh of Columbia, MO, Triniti Rose Morgan and Mila Lee Thomas of San Antonio, TX, Cam Linh Morgan of Virginia Beach, VA; nieces and nephews, Brian and Derrick Jackson of Houston, TX, Mary Elaine Moore of Crosby, TX, Deanna Lynn Barnes of League City, TX, Christian D.
