Christy Cantu

Christy Marie Cantu, 40, went to be with the Lord March 11, 2019 in San Antonio, TX.

Christy was born to Guadalupe and Consuelo Cantu July 11, 1978 in Corpus Christi, TX.  Christy graduated from Judson High School in Converse, TX.  She attended UTSA in pursuit of a degree in education.  She was creative, artistic, and spent much of her time painting and drawing.  Christy loved her children and family fiercely.  She lived life to the fullest and her smile and laughter will never be forgotten.

Christy is survived by her seven beautiful children, Lilianna, Gabriella, Zane, Arabella, Genesis, Emma (Lyric), and Rudy Lincoln, her mother, Consuelo Cantu, her brother Michael Newton (Shara), sisters, Lenida Spurlock and Leslie Vasquez (Christopher), and nieces and nephews, Troy, Olivia, Ava, Christian, Savannah, and Lucas.  Christy is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Cantu.

Please join us in celebrating Christy’s life at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd.  San Antonio, TX 78239.  Visitation will be held March 19th between 5-8 pm.  Funeral services will be held March 20th at 11 am with graveside to follow.
