This evening we have gathered to celebrate and honor the life of a wonderful woman.
Cynthia Olivia Camacho born Thursday, July 12, 1962, to Estella Mata Soto and Amado G. Oliva at Nix Hospital, downtown San Antonio, Texas.
Cindy went home to be with her Lord and Father on Monday, March 13th, 2023, at University Hospital.
Cindy passed away knowing she had the love, prayers and support of her family and friends. Her passing came after enduring a battle with her health. She then gained her wings for an eternal rest of peace and a whole and healed body.
Cindy is survived by her mother, Estella Mata Soto; her sister Teresa Oliva Haywood; sister Melissa Sandoval, her brother-in-law Leo Sandoval. Her Uncle Arthur and Aunt Carol Wilson; her Aunt Virginia Reedy. Several cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Amado G. Oliva, her first husband Joe Medina, and her beloved Nate Perez.
Cindy’s professional career included Jubilee Academy School, Public Health Equipment & Supply and Chase Bank. She was an excellent bookkeeper.
Cindy’s hobbies included riding Harley Davidson Cycles, watching good movies, reading books, spending time with family, arts, and crafts, writing poetry, shopping and accessorizing hats with her outfits, and hanging out with friends and her sweet dogs and cats.
Cindy, while you’ll be missed, we are all relieved that your battle has been won; you are whole and healed.
We love you.
