Elida Reyna

December 10, 1933 — January 9, 2021

Elida Martinez Reyna entered into eternal life on January 9, 2021.  She was born on December 10, 1933 in La Feria, Texas.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty nine years, Gonzalo V. Reyna; parents, Julio and Maria De Jesus Martinez; brother, Ernest Martinez; son, Anthony Reyna; daughter, Nancy Reyna; granddaughter, Andrea Reyna; grandsons, Marcus Reyna and Jerad Pompeo; two infant grandchildren and two infant great-great
grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Rudy Reyna, wife Ester and Raymond Reyna, wife Patricia; her daughters; Elida Wright, husband Gregg, Guadalupe Reyna-Guerra, husband Shelby and Kayla Reyna; fifteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elida Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews.

We praise God for she is no longer suffering and is united with her loving husband.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She will live in our hearts and memories forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. And she will be brought to her final resting place, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemtery, where she will be reunited with her husband.
