Obituary

Maria Garcia Torres, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 65. She was born in Mexico on October 16, 1955 to Evangelina Garza.

She is preceded in death by her mother and uncle, Juan Montalvo.

Survivors include her husband, Rafael M. Torres, her daughters, Laura B. Alvarez and Sylvia Sanchez; granddaughter, Laura Ashley Sanchez; as well as numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
