Maria Valles

Maria Fedelia Valles (Rios) age 66, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
passed away unexpectedly at home with her family on January 26th in Poteet, TX. She was a
loving wife and mother to her 8 children. She had withstanded many medical issues throughout
the years. Maria Valles was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 8th 1957 to Manuel and
Manuela Rios. She grew up in Texas and later moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska with her family.
She met her loving husband Carlos Valles in 1974 and later got married and formed a loving
family. Maria would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this June. She was a fighter and a
survivor, showing courage and bravery throughout her life. Her faith in Jesus Christ helped her
through life's difficult times. Maria loved to sing, listen to christian music, go shopping and loved
to go out to eat. She also loved to play puppet shows with her grandchildren. Maria was very
proud of her family and treasured the memories they created together. Maria leaves behind her
loving husband Carlos Valles and 8 loving children; Priscilla Valles, Jennifer Estrada (Antonio),
Juan Carlos Valles (Desiree), Sarah Llanas (Natanael), Maribel Borjas (Samuel), Antonia Valles
(David), Isamar Castro (Roberto) Jesus Valles and 19 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter.
She was also survived by 2 sisters Elizabeth Duque and Lena Rios. She is preceded in death
by her parents Manuel and Manuela Rios, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We know we can’t have you
but we're happy knowing that you're not suffering anymore and you went to be with the Lord. It’s
not a goodbye, It's a see you later. Mom; we love you and will miss you greatly
