Mireya Rodriguez

Mireya Paniagua Rodriguez, of San Antonio, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on December 31, 1953 to Jose Concepcion Bacerra and Maria Socorro Paniagua Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Guadalupe Flores Rodriguez; daughter, Patricia Rodriguez and son, David Rodriguez.

Survivors include her children, Joaquin Rodriguez and wife Olga, Guillermo Rodriguez, and Julio Rodriguez and wife Linda; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Esperanza, Marta, Mimi and Raquel; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mireya was a spirited person that loved her family and acknowledged her faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren and dancing with them. She faithfully attended church and was diligent to read the Bible. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., with the Burial to follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
