Ramiro Roman Sr.

Ramiro Ramon Sr. (also known as Kino) of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation and Funeral services will take place all at once on November 16, 2021, with viewing starting at 11:00 a.m. continuing with a service and burial to follow. This will all take place at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Road, San Antonio, Texas 78239.

Ramiro was born in Cotulla, Texas to Benita Rodriguez and Monico Roman on March 13, 1948. Ramiro was married to Juanita Roman on August 7, 2009 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Ramiro, had a grade school education but, that did not hold him back for learning and teaching himself how to fix and repair anything that needed attention. Ramiro was employed at Chrysler for over 30 years working on the assembly line building cars. He was a very hard-working man and loved by many. He was a man who loved, praised, and gave all the glory to God. In his earlier years, he took pride of his 64 Impala, in which he loved riding around and showing off his ride. He loved social gatherings with family, friends and loved ones. His family was his everything. He was a very hardworking man and loved by many!

Ramiro (Kino) is preceded in death by his son Ramiro Roman Jr., father Monico Roman, mother Benita Roman, brother Arturo Roman, and sister Gregoria Delgado.

Ramiro is survived by his wife Juanita Roman of 16 years, children: Bonnibel Roman (Greg Lambert), Ramiro Roman III, (Sue Zimmerman), Sandra Rosales (Antonio), Deanna Ayala (Luis Martin) Elsa Gonzalez (Alfredo Jr), his brother, Abel Roman

(Veronica) and five sisters, Maria Garcia (Lupe), Alicia Perez (Roberto), Yolanda Reyna (Humberto), Olivia Roman, and Ana Linda Ramirez (Guerillermo). Ramiro was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grand-children.

Pallbearers will be: Ramiro Roman III, Gregory Lambert, Izaiah Lambert, Ramiro Roman IV, Alfredo Gonzalez III, Luis Martin Ayala Jr.
